Lesley Bothwell’s small and private nurseries were established in 1984, to accommodate the growing number of mothers wishing to follow careers, without jeopardising the welfare of their children.
Our nursery accommodation, staffing facilities, activities and hours are all designed to meet this requirement.
We will meet your personal needs, whether you need full or part-time care for your children. We offer nurseries with excellent facilities, along with flexible hours.
HMI approval and help with nursery fees
The fact that we have been selected and approved to work in partnership with the Local Authority in delivering the 3-5 year old curriculum means two key benefits for every parent.
Firstly, a regular and rigorous inspection regime of each of our nurseries by HMI schools inspectors and the Education Department means you can be confident that your child is receiving the best in pre-school education. You can see the evidence in the HMI inspection report for each nursery, which is freely available to every parent.
And secondly, rather than you having to pay a premium for this, your Local Authority actually gives you financial assistance with the funding of each nursery place.
Educational standards are kept high while nursery charges are kept as low as possible. The manager of the nursery you are interested in will be happy to explain the current funding position for your child.
